How can I get more Sexual Energy? 


Every day people visiting this website have this question. This article is for all those who have this question - as is obvious from the search word statistics - but stop short of asking directly.

To HAVE more sexual energy we need to do three things;

1) Receive and Retain more Vital energy (energy that can be used any way we need or want to).
2) Remove energy blocks (that stop energy from being used sexually)
3) Recharge regularly.

These three cannot be done one morning - but require a change or correction of lifestyle .

Sexual energy is not just energy used to have sex. It is that form of energy that is stored in the body and is therefore quickly available for tasks that are not constant regular every day tasks like heart beat, or digestion or brain function.

There are many processes in the body that depend on the available of stored or sexual energy in the body. These are our stress management processes, skin, hair, tooth and bone cell regeneration process and our hormonal functions that are 'called up' on requirement.

To have more sexual energy we need to;

1) Hold or Retain more Vital or Basic energy 

Retaining energy or holding sexual/stored energy means that we don't waste our energy or let ourselves get energy drained. Stopping our energy from getting drained means not letting ourselves get involved in activies or thoughts or feeling that aren't really a priority in our lives.

It also means learning to rest and recover from strenous activity or exertion of any type - even if that activity was a 'good' or energizing activity. Physically, mentally, emotionally, even spiritually, our energy field will rebound from any extreme and needs our support in this so that we can actually retain the energy we gained through the exercise, or replenish whatever energy we lost through the exercise.

Those who are chronically energy depleted will find that they are in the habit of not fully recovering from physical, emotional or mental exercise. Their energy level goes from high to higher and higher and then crashes. Or it goes low to lower and then lower and then one big leap up before it dissipates again.

We can store energy in our body only when it is energy balanced, and stable. This situation happens most often in deep sleep. This is why we need to rest and rest deep enough to sleep deep.

2) Remove energy blocks (that stop energy from being used sexually)

Energy blocks anywhere in the body stop energy from being available at the time of having sex. Because sex is essentially a full body activity - not restricted to just some parts; If some parts of the body are blocked off from others, sexual energy is limited to the energy reserves in that part of the body - and therefore won't last too long, or get replenished quickly enough.

To remove energy blocks in the body we need to be emotionally and physically sensitive and aware.

This is because we are made up of mind, body and soul and all these need to constantly interact with each other to keep our system working smoothly. If we give any one of these power to work alone without interacting with the others, the energy sent out by the others waits around in the body or energy field for acknowledgement and to be dealt with. This is the cause of energy blocks 90% of the time.

Acknowledging our emotions, physical feelings too - like hunger and being turned on or shivers up the spine - all these keep our system clean.

3) Recharge regularly - Receive more Vital Energy.

We receive Vital energy supplies in deep sleep or when we are breathing deep - so deep we feel the vibration of the air in every cell. We also receive vital energy from the Earth and environment that is natural - like trees, grass, rock, water, fire, and even natural foods. We also receive vital energy from people who are in harmony with us, from situations where we enjoy our own nature - like sport and laughing and so on.

Increasing our interaction with and enjoyment of nature in ourselves and our surroundings increases the amount of Vital energy we receive. This in turn gets used to keep our bodies functioning and the rest gets stored in our body and is now Sexual energy. This energy is the pure reserve energy we use any time we want to have sex.

The amount of energy you can expend having sex, is the amount of energy you haveretained in your body after doing all the immediate body housekeeping tasks like digestion, wound repair etc.

The following is an example of an Energy Priority Plan - your own would need to be really specific and clear;

1) Am I getting enough Vital energy in the first place? If not,here is the list of activities I am going to do to receive more Vital Energy;

1) Go walking morning and evening.
2) Sleep earlier and earlier until I am able to wake up early in the morning - as this is the best time to recharge.
3) Spend more time doing the things I love - like gardening, playing with pets, telling my loved ones how much I enjoy and appreciate them

2) Am I retaining or holding enough vital energy in my body? If not, here is the list of activities which drain me. I am going to either eliminate these or work around them - do them differently or replace them.

1) Talking to neighbor or "friend" who will never like me. Trying to make people see the "good" side of me.
2) Shopping in places that tire me out.
3) Watching TV programmes or reading things/ visiting websites which continuously make me afraid for my life or my loved ones. The message of the world suffering and being in danger has reached my heart - there's no need to rub it in.
4) Convincing other people to see things my way or change their life to suit me.
5) Changing my life, my personality, my being to please others or make things easy for them.

3) Am I emotionally and physically aware? If not, here is the list of situations in which I make myself go numb and block my feelings and impulse.

1) When I am travelling to and from work.
2) When I am in the presence of a particular person or authority figure - who is 'more important' than myself.
3) When I am in the middle of strenous work.
4) When I am on the internet.
5) When I am with a friend/family member who always puts me down or makes a joke about everything I do, who doesn't take me seriously.
6) When I find myself doing things I don't really believe in.

4) Do I recharge regularly enough? If not, here is a list of things I am going to do to reacharge more often;

1) Sleep well every night.
2) Have time off for enjoyment and peace every day - not just on the weekends.
3) Do something I used to do before that made me feel energized - like listening to music, dancing, skating, sport
etc etc

Sexual energy in the body is not just the energy we use to have sex, or that we get from having sex. It is vital energy that is stored in the body. This means at any given time, our energy 'reserve' is sexual energy. The reason its been called 'sexual' energy is because one of the few processes of the body that uses it exclusively in its simple primary form, is sex.

Having a balance of sexual energy is important because whether we have too much, or too less of it, we end up with various disorders.

Having too much sexual energy circulating in our energy fields instead of being released,causes;

But if you don't want to do something, your energy field refuses to give you energy for it. If in spite of that, you force yourself to do it, you literally blow a hole in the energy field through which you could lose all your stored energy.

2) Engage in activities which give you fresh supplies of vital energy.



These are activities which you enjoy, which make you feel energized from deep within our abdomen. It differs from person to person, however the general rule of thumb is that the more of our bodies it includes the more vital energy we gain. For example, we would gain more energy from actually dancing than just watching someone dancing. A great way to get a fresh energy supply is laughing - with mind, and heart and body. Deep rhythmic breathing, like that we engage in in deep sleep, also increases energy supply immensely.


3) Massaging the body to release energy blocks.



When we release energy blocks in our bodies, we make it easy for sexual energy to move around. A simple easy way to release energy blocks is to massage ourselves anywhere we feel tense or achy, till we find the area relaxed again. Making a habit of massaging at a particular time every day helps a great deal as the body gets used to releasing tension regularly.

4) Correcting our foot connection with the ground beneath.

The human energy field uses a primal trigger to let it know when to receive sexual energy. This trigger is contact with the earth or something that is connected directly to the earth. When our feet are fully and firmly placed on the floor or earth, our energy bodies recieve the 'Go ahead and receive fresh energy' signal.



A guerilla tactic to balance sexual energy levels is to stand bare-feet on the earth for a few minutes in the morning and in the evening. Another way is to have a container of earth in your room into which you plant your hands for a few minutes morning and evening. 

5) Connect up the opposing poles of the energy field.

We have two opposing poles - our right hand or the crown of our head; and the left hand or the point at the bottom of our torso also called the Perinuem. When we connect these up we put into action a string of processes that balance all the various energies our bodies and minds use, sexual energy included.

An exercise to help this process happen more often is to breath in deep and hold breath in till we feel our entire torso vibrating with the air held in. Then we let the air out as slowly as possible and keep the lungs empty till we feel like every point of our torso is screaming for air again.

5 Ancient methods for Holistic Tissue Regeneration 


If there's one thing about living a hard life and aging that we humans would like to undo - its the effect on our tissues; The marks on our skin, sagging weak skin, brittle breaking dull hair, over-worked nerves, straining heart muscle, worn out enamel, the scar tissue on our internal organs, muscles and bones - making our bodies sag, inflexible, strained in pain even. If we have to live again physically as we can and do live again emotionally and spiritually, our tissues need to regenerate and re-organize themselves.

Tissue Regeneration is the difference between a broken hand held up its cast and the healed hand on its own without a cast. 

The good news is that tissue regeneration is a natural process that every living being has the potential of.
The bad news is that most of us are energy depleted - we're having such a tough time even staying healthy, to manage our daily lives that our body can't spare a moment of time or energy on regenerating tissues.

1) Air Massage

This is the opposite of steam sauna treatment - where the heat gets pores to open up and release blocked substances. Air massage is actually air rubbing against or 'massaging' our skin. It used to be natural for us when we roamed the wild naked and regularly had air and wind pressure on our skin. When human beings started wearing clothes all the time, we began to need artificial methods of air massage.

Air massage pushes surface skin cells inwards, causing energy from the air and energy from around to move into the tissue and causing cells in the tissue to get closer together - therefore tightening the tissue. This is especially helpful when we have scar tissue which usually blocks off blood and lymph from within the body reaching the affected area. When energy isn't being supplied to skin tissue properly enough from inside, supplying it from the surface helps.

In old times, Air Massage was done by using pipes to send constant air pressure onto the skin. A simpler way to have a quick easy air massage is to turn your blow dryer on - without the heat - and air massage your body gently from about 6 inches above the skin. There doesn't have to be much force. The benefit lies in doing this regularly. If you want vital energy to reach certain areas from the surface, rub on some rose water/ aloe gel/ castor oil (serious scar tissue) and then air massage. Or simply dry yourself off this way after a bath.

2) Build Energy Field Resistance to Toxicity

One of the main causes of tissues not being able to regenerate themselves is toxins that are stuck or caught in the body. Toxins are substances that are difficult to break down naturally in the body and cause blocks in our system. Huge amounts of energy, even blood go into getting toxins out. The way to deal with this is start resisting toxins as quickly as possible before they get deep into skin tissue or blood.

Building resistance to toxins requires a daily commitment to a regular sleep-waking schedule, comfortable satisfying diet, deep sleep, and deep stable breathing.

3) Encourage reactiveness - physically and emotionally 

The more we react physically and emotionally to stimulation, circumstances and everyday life events and experiences, the more our energy fields - and bodies exercise. This exercise keeps our energy fields - and bodies - clear of blocks and passing energy through properly. Old wounds and scars disappear and any new wounds or injuries don't need to form scar tissue as fresh cells are made quickly enough to take over.

The reason babies and children don't scar as bad as adults is because they are reactive and keep energy moving in their bodies making it possible for healing to happen constantly on the go.

4) Sleep deep every night for fresh supplies of vital and sexual energy

The quantity of sleep can never make up for the quality of sleep. Being emotionally aware during our waking hours and allowing ourselves to deal with things long before bed-time makes us able to sleep deep and peacefully.

We also need to;
  • have moderately digested our supper so that our stomach is not actively working while we are asleep.
  • sleep in a comfortable position so we don't have to toss and turn too much, and so we can breathe deeply without obstruction in the air pipe from our nose to our lungs.
  • deal with uncomfortable levels of body fat that don't allow us to sleep in one position for long.
In deep sleep, vital energy gets stored in our cells. In any tissue or cell, the amount of stored energy available to be used for cell reproduction at any given time, is how healthy our tissues on the whole can be - whether of the skin, nerves or internal organs. 

We can see this a simple way. Imagine a town surrounded by jungle. All the technology in the world cannot protect this town from being encroached on by the jungle and its animals - unless there are humans to manage things. This is why humans need to reproduce their own kind - so our very lives can continue. (This is why all of nature reproduce their own kind - so they can continue). 

In the body, cells use stored energy (simply called sexual energy) to reproduce, keeping the whole body healthy and working. We use our energy reserves or sexual energy the whole day long - we have it replenished only in deep sleep. This is why we need to sleep deep. It is the only long term insurance we or our race will ever have.

This amazing herb is called 'Spikenard' in English and 'Jatamansi' in Sanskrit. There is almost no ancient healing practice on earth that does not revere its healing and rejuvenating properties. Its connection to love, romance and wellbeing are documented in the Bible in the Song of Solomon and in the New Testament as the expensive perfume used by Mary Magdalene to anoint the feet of Jesus. Odes to its healing properties are sung in almost any of the ancient texts - be it Kabbala or Ayurvedic.

Spikenard represents the connection between two twin passions I've had ever since I was born. One is the Bible, the other is the energy healing properties of Herbs and flowers. Naturally among the first herbs I studied, were the herbs mentioned in the Bible. But Spikenard eluded me. It just didn't grow in the place I grew up in, in South India. That didn't stop me though. I made my way to it - all the way up to Himalayas - finally making contact with its raw form at age 24. Since the first time I held it in my palm - brought to me by a hillsman who knew where to find it growing wild (7-14,000 feet above sea level), I have been fatally in love with it.

In its herbal extract form, its great for digestion, stress relief and nervous system repair. But what it does in its pure energy field form is just amazing. I will try to list its effects here but keep in mind, this is a study in progress, I keep finding new ways it works. This is because it is one of those herbs that affects people differently.

For example, given to children it helps them stay calm in stressful times - like exam-time, and gets their digestive system going. In teenagers it stimulates the production of the sex hormones so their reproductive system develops properly, a great help for those teens who are stressed out about not developing physically like their peers.

In adults Spikenard's energy field causes hormonal re-adjustment to new environments - imagine what that means for people who move house to climates they are not accustomed to! It also balances the energy field by removing blocks on the vertical energy axis. This means that no matter where you lack energy in your body, Spikenard will cause energy to go just there!! You see, Spikenard has an intelligence of its own.

This is also perhaps why it is one of the most difficult herbs to understand. What's a healer supposed to do if a herb that's supposed to make someone sleep better, actually causes the person to feel more awake?

You see, Spikenard is unpredictable because it simply stays in the center of the energy field, and lets itself be directed by the polarity of the person's energy field itself rather than move according to its own pattern. Unlike garlic which causes energy to flow out from the center, or lime which causes energy to collect up towards the center,Spikenard just prepares the energy in our center to be ready to move. What happens next is totally dependent on how your energy field wants to use the energy. Just like wind moves from an area of high pressure - where there's lots of air - to an area of low pressure - where there is less air - so energy in our energy field moves to where its needed. Spikenard just makes that possible by making our energy center open to sending out energy. How beautiful is that!

Some of the amazing applications of Spikenard in Energy Medicine;

1) Melatonin Balance in the Pineal Gland

Spikenard is the vital energy field I use to treat imbalance and enlargements of the Pineal Gland. It is the only energy field that I know that will reduce the amount of melatonin in an overactive Pineal Gland. This is an invaluable aid to sleep cycle correction, treatment of chronic clinical depression and all manner of sleep and nervous system disorders. It also greatly helps those who have unbalanced psychic activity. The chain reaction set off in the body by the Pineal Gland balancing its function (and even size over time) are just as amazing.

When the Pineal Gland rejuvenates itself it slowly stops piling on the grey ash-like deposit of calcium that settles over it with age - this is one of the foremost triggers of 'ageing' in the body as the light reaching the Pineal Gland gets blocked off by the calcium. Slowing or stopping this depository activity means ageing in the body itself slows down as the Pineal Gland continues to direct the body's energy to flow just as in youth. This is one came as a surprise. A childhood friend of mine who has always been a great singer suddenly developed a strange problem one fine day. She was singing right, in the right pitch and had no problems holding notes for a long time. But it sounded like she was choking somewhere. Her sister and I just couldn't understand it. J was very hurt by it, because people began joking about her voice - her Dad even said her voice was 'breaking'. J garled with salt water and took all manner of respiratory tract clearing medicines but nothing worked.

At around the same time she also developed chronic bad breath for no reason. To treat the bad breath I got her to try my energy medicine, the main energy field being Spikenard, but even after two days there seemed to be no change whatsoever. On the third day we were fooling around her room when she suddenly straightened up and said she felt a tightening in her chest. After a few uncomfortable minutes she took a deep breath and when she spoke again the 'choked' quality was gone. In that same moment the bad breath also was gone (I checked personally).

Since then I have seen Spikenard helping those with energy blocks the vocal cords and tracchea - as area otherwise not very easy to treat. A 'voice' is a combination of healthy flexible vocal cords and a clean passage for air from the lungs right out the mouth. Keeping this area energetically clean and balanced helps us have clear voices, and aids in getting control over the vocal cords.

5) Preventing Cancer anywhere in the Body

Preventing Cancer can be tricky. Those who have cancer prevention on their minds most are usually those who have fought with cancer once and do not want to go into remission. This can be difficult for a body that has just been bombarded with radiotherapy and chemotherapy as these therapies drastically alter cell health in the body. 7) Fighting Antibiotic Resistant Infection (like Golden Staph Infection)

If you have an infection that is not responding to antibiotic treatment, what can you do? The energy field of Spikenard is invaluable here, because it sends energy to the area of infection and because it is not carried by the blood but by the energy meridians in the energy field, it cannot be resisted by the infection carrying cells. The antibiotic resistant infection is trained to disable the body's immune system's access to fresh energy, and kill off the weakened anti-infection cells. But it has no way to stop an energy flow that's not coming in through the blood. Its like a Star Wars battle where one party on the battlefield is being attacked by missiles coming out of the invisible unknown and is therefore not resistable.

If you want to treat yourself or a loved one (human or animal) to Spikenard's amazing energy field healing properties, you can use one or more of the following ways to capture energy fields. The strength of the treatment depends on the purity of your source of Spikenard. I am fortunate to have access to wild spikenard root or flowers from the higher Himalayas by virtue of my location here in the foothills, but I understand the only form of Spikenard available in most places is the Essential Oil of Spikenard. If you buy it from a trustworthy source chances are it will be effective enough for home use.

The first and simplest way to enjoy Spikenard's energy healing properties is to put a drop or two of its essential oil into another carrier oil (olive, walnut, almond and so on) and rub a drop on two on your wrists, between your eyebrows, or on your belly button, twice a day. The scent can be strong inspite of the dilution so the next method is for those who don't want to deal with the scent on a daily basis.

You heat a pan of clean (pure/distilled) water. You need to do this when your kitchen is free of other strong odors or other things beng cooked and releasing substances into the air. When the water comes to a boil, turn the flame down to half and put in two drops of Spikenard's essential oil. (Be sure not to add more than two or three drops. If you accidentally put it more DO NOT subject anyone under the age of 25 to the treatment).

Count to 10 after the drops are in and then hold a plate, spoon or bowl of pure silver over the pan, with tongs. If you don't have an instrument made of silver, try a spoon or bowl of hardened glass. Wooden or metal surfaces transmit their own energies to the vapor and modify the resulting energy field.

The drops of water vapor that settle onto the pure silver (or pure gold/ glass) surface are charged with Spikenard's energy field. Gently pour the drops into a clean bottle that is not made of wood or metal, and that's dark colored (to keep light out). Its ok if you've got just a few drops. Now pour in some more clean water - 10 drops of the charged drops for 100ml of water is an ok dilution level - shut the bottle and kept it away from the sunlight. The fridge is a good option if you live in tropical climate. In the normal section of the refridgerator this mix will keep for 2 or 3 days. You can freeze some of the liquid in the the freezer and melt a cube every two days. In the freezer it will keep for a week or two.

All you need is two drops directly at the back of the mouth, or in any liquid that's not hot, twice a day- preferably around sunrise or sunset.

In this form, Energy Medicine is very gentle, and slow to act. If you want a more potent form of Spikenard's energy field, you'd need to get an experienced energy medicine healer to make it for you using silver or gold electricity or laboratory distillation without diluting the distillate.

In its more potent forms, Spikenard needs to be combined with other energy fields to balance out its effect so that the rush of energy doesn't make the energy field volatile and electrically over-charged. The energies of Juniper, Banyan, and Wheat are among the energy field stabilizers and absorbants that I use for this purpose (depending on the area of the person's birth, age, sex and previous energy field history).

How does the Swine Flu virus spread among humans?
By physical contact. In a sense it is also 'air-borne' because when an infected person sneezes or coughs, respiratory droplets carrying the microbes of this virus could hang in air for about 5-6 feet around - and these could be inhaled by other people. These droplets could then settle on anything around and then get picked up as people move through and within the space.

How can I protect myself from getting Swine Flu?

1) Keep your immunity in working order by including Vitamin C in your diet.The simplest way to do this is have lime juice as often through the day as you can. Squeeze some lime juice into water before you drink it, sprinkle lime juice over your food, add lime cordial to your drinks, and so on.

Other natural foods that raise the body's immunity include olive leaf, astragalus, limes, lemons, gooseberries, rhodiola rosea, cats claw, aloe vera, garlic, zinc, echinacea, elderberry, grapeseed extract, apple cider vinegar.

You can have these raw, in decoctions or herbal extracts. The best thing to have is the one most easily available fresh locally rather than processed into pills.

If you are pregnant, please include as many of these as you can in your diet. Pregnant women naturally have their immunity a little lower so that their body does not reject the 'new' body developing within. This can expose them to the risk of infections. A little boost from fresh herbs, veggies and fruits is all it takes to keep healthy, so add them in.

2) Don't bombard your body with heavy digestive work. If you are eating food that is hard to digest, much of your body's resources are channelled into just digesting the food, this could have your immune system depleted temporarily and we don't want that. So eat light, cut out refined sugars, flours and oils as these are difficult to digest, and just keep your diet simple.

3) Stay calm. Every time we get stressd out we lose a whole of energy that we really need to stay physically healthy. There are times when we should be stressed out, and make our lives better. But 90% of all stress actually is a waste of energy because it is just a reaction of habit or plain old fear, neither of which is good for our bodies.

5 Powerful Physical Ways to Relieve Stress Immediately

We read and learn a lot about how to fight stress, but in a moment of actual stress, its rather difficult to talk to yourself or think or reason things out. At such times, the best thing to do is something physical that immediately releases the high voltage electricity flowing through the body - that is called stress. 

The following are five natural, primal and ancient methods of stress relief. They simply manipulate the physical and energy body to make the internal organs, the nervous system and the adrenals cool and calm again. In moments of extreme stress they can calm you down significantly and be the difference between success and failure. As part of your daily life they can change the way you live as you start relaxing more, being more creative and enjoying life more intensely.

3) Do the Tailbone Press & the Feet Press
4) Tighten and Relax the Perineum Muscle

1) Throw your hands to your head 

This powerful innate reflex we all were born knowing, is not so much a sign of distress, as it is a natural way to relieve stress. When we are stressed, energy flows up to our head, as a way to empower the brain to make quick decisions. However, if the energy flow is too sudden, or forceful, even if it doesn't cause a headache, it causes us to throw our hands up to balance the energy immediately by caressing or pressing the head. 

The next time you're stressed out, don't stop yourself from using this powerful natural primal method to balance energy levels in your body. Allow your hands to feel free to press your head, forehead, face and just breathe forcefully as you do. This will expel the heat that is generated in the brain in moments of stress and in a few seconds you will feel cooler, calmer and able to deal with the situation at hand. 

Remember throwing your hands up to your head is not a sign of 'Something is Wrong', but 'Something is going to be set Right'. It is your our survival mechanism. 

2) Do the Yoni Mudra

This is a way to stop erratic breathing and conserve energy within the body rather than lose it through the head and face - as happens when we are stressed.

The fingers cover the facial sense organs. Only the fingers over your nose move. They relax so you can breathe in. Then they clamp down over your nostrils as you hold your breath in for as long as you can. Usually, you suddenly feel like you're actually inside your body for the first time in a long while.

Then you release your nostrils and breathe out. When you have breathed out fully, you again close your nostrils and stay that way till you feel you have to breathe in again. And so you go on for a few cycles - as much as you can. I cannot list the benefits of this exercise, there are too many. Try it for yourself - you will immediately feel the benefits. A word of caution - do not push yourself to hold breath in or out for too long. This is meant to help you relax, not challenge you.


For those who cannot do this form of the Yoni mudra, you can try this alternate method. You lie on your front, and turn your head so one ear is to the bed or the ground. You use one arm to cradle your face, and cover the top-most part of your head. With the other you cover your other ear. You breathe slowly and just be with yourself - the rest of the world is cut out for now. 


The idea behind both these exercises is for you to come in touch with the part of you that's beyond the senses. An ancient text called the 'Heart Sutra' goes , "No eyes, no ears, no taste..." It speaks of how at the root of our being we are beyond sound, sight, taste etc. We are pure spirit and coming in touch with that part of us immediately helps us de-stress. 

3) Do the Tailbone Press & the Feet Press

The Tail Bone Press 

There is a point at the bottom of our back bone - its called the Tail Bone point, because if we had tails they would start there. This tail bone point ends up carrying huge amounts of tension - from both the back bone and the nervous system, just because it is at the bottom and is a sort of catch-all point. When we are very stressed out, pressing here, massaging or even just touching, helps the tension get released so we feel better immediately. It is a great help for those who have problems sleeping (just like all the other exercises mentioned on this page). It is also a simple way to relieve stress in babies (to relieve separation anxiety and the like) - you just massage their back gently, pressing the tail bone point just a little. 

The Feet Press

Our feet hold energy points that are connected to the rest of our system. Massaging our feet, soaking them in warm water, or even just sitting with our feet in water, is a great aid to stress relief. But these are not always possible, especially if the times we are stressed are in the office or when we have lots of work to do. The thing to do at these times, is slip out of our shoes for a few minutes, and press the soles of our feet together. You press your feet together, and then clench them turning your toes in as far as possible. You keep them that way for a while, then relax them and clench again. You'll be amazed at how clear headed you feel after doing the feet press. Try it right now and see how you feel. (By the way, this is also a great way to exercise your legs and lower body in general - to keep toned, fight varicose veins, fluid retention and muscle atrophy). 



4) Tighten and Relax the Perineum Muscle 

The Perineum is the lower-most part of the torso. If the crown of our head is the upper-most point, this point is its opposite and complement. That's why it is as important and vital. The Perineum in women lies between the vaginal opening and anus, for men between the penis and the anus. It is that muscle that connects the legs. Now, being a muscle, it is elastic to an extent, connected to the blood supply and nervous system and this makes it a powerful lever with which the entire body's muscle, circulation and nervous network can be accessed. 

To relieve stress immediately, we need to either press the perinuem, or clench and relax, or pull it up. As babies we did it every time we cried, it is still what happens when we tighten up emotionally and then release our tears or passions. It is one of our most emotional physical points in a sense. 

The thing about the perineum muscle clenching exercise - however you like to do it - is that you can do it anywhere, anytime and it will immediately release stress so your face suddenly looks better, your head clears up, and you can breathe normally again. You can do it sitting in an office reception waiting for your job interview, on the train, in a bus, in a restaurant, or in bed if you're having trouble sleeping or enjoying sex. Anytime you need a sudden rush of energy, just clench your perineum muscle for as long as you can and then release. Or just pump it up and down, sending energy through your body. You will feel the effect in your face, head, hair, and then the rest of the body as well. 

5) Fast Breathe out through the Mouth 

This one is for the worst stressful moments. You don't think, you don't talk. You just throw air out from your mouth. As you do, your nose immediately breathes in more air, and you just throw it out again. Its like you go 'whoo' whoo' whoo whoo whoo straight from your tummy out through your mouth. In a few seconds your body temperature will fall back to normal as the hot air inside is expelled, your heart rate will slow down automatically, and your lungs will demand deep breath. This is what we want - deep breath, as this is what relieves stress. Once you start deep breathing just keep going. If you feel stressed out again, start throwing air out through your mouth again. Then start breathing deep again.

Massaging their back, their feet and breathing with them - first fast and then slow and deep relieves stress almost immediately - as long as you are holding them and they trust your touch.
